Architecture Pavilion

The Architecture Building Pavilion was a design that I nurtured and created, both graphically and physically, to create a place to sit. My professor once taught us that the classic test for a design student is to design and build a chair. This process of research and design took months of note-taking, iterating, revisiting, perfecting, and creating.
The Pavilion would be located at the University of Texas Goldsmith Architecture courtyard, situated in the empty dip of a fountain that was never used. Using this space, I've recycled and repurposed it for a calming place for students to sit on their break. The design draws from the Texas Tuscan architecture of the building and the Moorish tile designs around it.
